The mind of the diamond dragon is like a supper computer,always thinking and problem solving.the itelligance is so high,when conversing with a lesser intelligent creature, they tend to bore them to death with in depth details and facts.diamond dragon's are friendly to other dragon's,but thier ego's sometimes get in the way.
At birth a diamond dragon's have a glossy grey white scale color.as they grow the grey disapears and the white becomes more translucent clear color.the exceptional luster and its ability to break up white light into all colors of the rainbow (known as dispersion),make the diamond dragon almost unbareable to look at.male diamond dragon's have a diamond shape on their forehead,the shape is a light reddish color,the female diamond dragon's have a light bluish/yellow color.being the rarest of dragons they can live as long as 4,000 years if they survive from humans,orges for the scales, and diamond eating creatures.thier body is slim and flexible.
Diamond dragon's speak their own tongue common to all gem dragons and 25% of hatchlings have an ability to communicate with any intelligent creature. The chance to possess this ability increases 8% per age category of the dragon.
COMBAT: diamond dragon's avoid fights, they would rather use their mind. But if avoiding a fight is not an option they would use either their breath weapon, their psionics or spell casting. if they fight in close they would use their brute strength with their claws and tail but not bite unless no other choice.
BREATH WEAPON: CRYSTALLIZING GAS: this dragon's breathweapon is a cone of crystallizing gas, the gas comes out of the dragon's mouth at a 5ft radious,25 ft at the base and 75ft in length. this weapon goes for two durations.any creature caught in the cone has to use a save Vs breathweapon for half damage to prevent from the outer body from becoming crystalized. the second round if the gas is inhaled another save Vs breathweapon must be rolled to avoid the internal organs from crystallizing and becoming fully incompassitated (effects last a day if not killed by the dragon).
Diamond dragons are born with breathing water abilities, plus immune to bright light(blind,darness,ect),gases(posion,paralyzing,ect)cold(ice,artic winds,ect.). can *polymorph*three times a day. As they age they gain theses abilities:

ECOLOGY: Diamond dragons consume a diet of graphite, diamonds and also a small amount of coal. They also eat meat in-between. female diamond dragon's have a rare birthing..they birth live dragons, up too 5 dragons at a time.but the only time they can mate for population is during a solaris lunar life cycle(every 100 years ).the diamond dragon's tend to their young full time up too adulthood. their logic is to teach them as much attack and defense they can before letting lose into the world.
